About Girl Guides
In Mount Barker
Girl Guides is for all girls aged five and over, and women aged 18 and older.
Guiding strives to offer girls a comprehensive program where through which they can grow into confident, self respecting, responsible community members.
We do this through a range of activities including camping, craft, singing, community service, games, outdoor activities, and much more. Our program has an integrated approach through teamwork, commitment to the Promise and Law, exploring the outdoors, service in the community, learning by doing and progressive self-development.
Guiding is a worldwide sistership, and all members are part of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.

Our two youngest age groups meet on Wednesday nights at Cornerstone College from 4.30 to 6pm.
Older girls meet on Tuesday nights at Cornerstone College from 5.30pm to 7.30pm
Girls 14 to 17 can pursue the Queen's Guide Award, which counts toward the SACE.
Members in years 11 and 12 can work with Girl Guides for Community Studies and Personal Learning Project.
18 to 30 year olds are encouraged to join SA's Olave Program.
